The Knight Family Calendar Collection
The calendar project began as a way for Geraldine Knight, our matriarch, to give a unique and personal gift to her children and grandchildren, and the first edition is a compilation of Mom's beautiful writings and poetry. Successive calendars have been photo albums, recipe collections, travelogues, children's art...in fact, a completely different theme every year. We hope they say something about us as a family, the sense of humor we share, and some of the things that are important to us. Geraldine passed away in 2004 at the age of ninety. We have continued the calendar tradition in her honor. These are the stories and pictures, recipes and anecdotes from each volume of our family calendars, from the first in 1992 to the current edition. You will note our on-line collection, for the reasonable reason of personal privacy, does not display the monthly grids with birthdays and anniversaries.
